Film Magazine Decon

The name of the magazine has been written big and the colour used is a simple gold/brown colour, the font is also bold and easy to recognise. The words written on the top of the magazine’s name makes it eye catching because of its simplicity and also because the colour choice makes it easier to read, the white letters goes well with the black background. The price and issue date has been put above the title as well but has been written I smaller letters. The magazine’s slogan and website address has also been added but it is not easily readable.

The image is very interesting and eye catching because of the shot used (close up) and also because of the balance of contrast of the image with the background, there are four main colours used within the entire magazine gold, white, black, blue with the exception of the characters’ eye colour which is a greenish yellow colour, this also helps to make the magazine stand out also because of the eye contact that the character in the image is giving the reader. The titles are easy to read and the magazine is not overcrowded the makers of the magazine kept it simple by showcasing one article on the front cover, but makes up for it by adding a plus offer. They are also offering a free item which is a fold out collectors cover of the film Avatar.
